The Botanical Garden is located in Mirpur, the capital of Bangladesh. It is located next to the National Zoo. The Botanical Garden was established in 1971 on an area of about 206 acres. There are about 600 species of different trees here. And these include flowers, fruits and medicinal plants. The 206-acre site has been divided into 56 sections. There are 6 reservoirs of different sizes in it. There are seasonal flower gardens spread over an area of about 1.5 acres. Every day thousands of visitors come to see the parade of different species of plants.
The Botanical Gardens are open every day from March to November from nine in the morning to five in the afternoon and from December to February from nine in the morning to four in the afternoon.
The entrance fee to the Botanical Garden is 20 TK and 5 TK for the little ones.
How to go:
From the Gabtoli bus stand you can take the Laguna directly to the Botanical Gardens. Rent 10 TK. From Sadarghat bus stand you can go to Botanical Garden by Mirpur-1 bus. Rent 25 TK.

Where to eat:
You can eat at the shops in front of the Botanical Garden. However, the price is a bit higher. If you want to eat at low cost, you can eat at Mirpur-1 Golchattar food hotels.

Can gain knowledge about the various plants inside the Botanical Garden. Avoid any kind of embarrassing situation. Use a dustbin where there is no dirt.
